Roasting isn't rocket science.
Roasting coffee beans is a careful balance of science and art, with a hint of patience (and maybe a little caffeine). It starts with raw green beans, heated to precise temperatures to unlock their unique flavors and aromas. As the beans roast, they transform, cracking and releasing oils, going from grassy and pale to rich and aromatic. Precision is key—because no one wants coffee that tastes like regret—and every small adjustment can make a big difference. The result? A perfectly roasted bean, ready to turn mornings into something almost manageable.
Ethically grown? Always. Pretentious? Never.
At Croisan Creek Coffee, we source beans from the coffee world’s VIP list: Ethiopia, Colombia, Indonesia, and Africa. Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, brings bright, floral flavors—because it’s had the longest to practice. Colombia’s high-altitude farms serve up caramel sweetness that’s basically dessert in a cup. Indonesia’s volcanic soils create rich, earthy profiles (because nothing says "bold" like lava), and Africa’s diverse climates produce brews so fruity they could double as a juice cleanse. We go to the best spots, so your coffee doesn’t taste like it came from the breakroom.

Driven by a desire to share the sensory joy of coffee—from the first grind to the perfect sip—Alex works tirelessly to source ethically grown beans from regions known for their remarkable quality.
